1. Who we are

Pawsjet is an online service that helps families prepare their pet's international travel. The controller of your data is GLOBAL BRIDGE GROUP SpA, a company incorporated in Chile (RUT 78.190.832-0), operating Pawsjet from London, United Kingdom. For any privacy question, email us at hello@pawsjet.com.

Our UK representative for data protection matters is María José Le-Breton, who can be contacted at the same address.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: email and password (the password is stored encrypted; we never see it).
  • Pet and trip data: name, species, breed, size, whether it is microchipped and the date, rabies vaccination date, whether it is an assistance animal, whether it has an EU pet passport, origin and destination country, travel mode and planned date.
  • Your checklist progress: which steps you marked as done.
  • Feedback you send through the feedback button and support chat messages.
  • Technical data: your preferred language and the basic information your browser sends when visiting the site (for example, IP address).

We do not collect payment details. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • To create your account and show you a personalised checklist with deadlines and alerts: necessary to provide the service you ask for (performance of a contract).
  • To send essential service emails, such as account confirmation or password reset: performance of a contract.
  • To answer your questions and improve Pawsjet with your feedback: our legitimate interest in providing a good service.
  • We will only send you news or marketing if you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We use providers that process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:

  • Supabase: database and user accounts (servers in Frankfurt, European Union).
  • Lovable: website hosting.
  • Resend: service emails.
  • Crisp: support chat.
  • Google Fonts: website fonts (receives your IP address when the page loads).

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. In those cases, safeguards approved under UK law are used, such as standard contractual clauses or the UK-US Data Bridge.

We do not share your data with airlines, vets or authorities, unless the law requires us to.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as you have an active account. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data and your pet's data within 30 days, except anything the law requires us to keep.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its use, object to certain uses, or receive it in a portable format. Email hello@pawsjet.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

7. Children

Pawsjet is intended for people aged 18 and over.

8. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and each user can only see the information in their own account.
